FHIR Context in Marketplace

i've published my MCP server to the marketplace with 'Pass FHIR Context' enabled when judges test it from the marketplace, will patient context be passed automatically or do they need to configure it manually on their end?
another question - for MCP servers that rely only on Condition and Observation FHIR resources is there a recommended way to handle patients where those resources return empty? should the tool return a friendly message or is there a standard error format the platform expects?
